ok let's have a quick update, nearly 12 XDD

i only had to work 1 day this week cuz the nice doctor didn't work on tuesday~
once again XD i was indirectly called 'slow' at work today~
same thing~ like she was like 'think a little more' *nearly like duh~*
i was like ... i think she's getting impatient with me now...
hahaha the nice doctor is so funny~ he actually had to wait for my boss to come pick him up today~
so he talked to me a bit randomly again XDD

it rained hard today~ like when i was getting to work <_< it was so bad~ i had an umbrella yet my pants were all wet...and the back of my blouse XS and there were so many puddles, i just continued to step in them so my shoes + socks were wet the whole time at work~ so yucky! yea but at least i didn't get splashed by cars XDD good thing~

course enrolment~ i'm done picking except i still have to go to an interview for korean~ so far it seems like i'll have a lot of night classes T_T i had a start time of 12:20 this yr~ but still yet the afternoon classes i wanted were all full T_T so now i have classes all like on 3 days for full semester and like 4 for spring~ sad isn't it? T_T

i tried more alcohol~ hahaha my mom's supervisor gave their group each a bottle of wine~ it has like 12 % alcohol or something XD dude it doesn't taste good~ i guess i'm just not an alcoholic person?! XDDD

ok XD another entry~
the song i'm listening to, it's not korean!
shocking? it's becuz lately i watched the Taiwanese drama 'devil beside you'~
since i started 'why why love' (recommended by Linda <3), i had to occupy myself till each week, one ep is aired~ the wait kills me <_< so i decided to try out 'devil beside you' since like i heard it's good and it has the same 3 main actors/actress in the show~ it was interesting XDD but i think 'why why love' is better ^^

Another day to complain i guess? but let's keep it short~
today i got lectured by my co-worker~ and i guess it gives her the right to since she 'trains' me~
but the thing is, i guess, i'm just stupid and i really can't do much to improve myself~ she tries to teach me about what i should be doing in a work environment~ but i guess i didn't take this 'lesson' too well today...
it's becuz i worked nearly for '2 months' already~ and she basically said that i have to learn and absorb all that i learnt and should be using my brain a bit more...how did this start? i saw a piece of paper on a file and usually i'm supposed to give it to her...and like i did and she's like it says call so anyone can do it...so i was supposed to do it...and when i got around to it, i asked her, what should i say to this patient? cuz usually i call telling them there's a report & the dr wants to see them~ but this wasn't the same...and she's like it's insurance, tell them to come back in to see the doctor. Then i was like, and after, we can file? it's becuz usually insurance patients r left in the dr's office so i was like ?? But then she was like *starts lecture: u have already worked for like 2 months, you gotta absorb everything, you can't ask about every little thing. U gotta know that ppl expect more from you since u'r 20. My daughter is the same age as u but she seems a lot more mature & independent compared to u. Guess it's becuz u depended on ur sister a lot since u were small but when u work, u can't do that! U gotta show ppl ur improvement by the end of 2 months, u should be able to be good at it. When u go and work in a harder company, what r u gonna do?! there's gonna be a lot of competition. If my daughter & u went for a job, who do u think they'll hire?! also u work a lot more than em's sis & her friend so u should know more* so on... it's becuz her daughter is currently @ a place teaching...in my mind i was like ... *sigh* this job seems very stressful on me at times...getting yelled at so much and lectured for so long...seriously she lectured me for so long today, usually the lectures r very light & i can just like nod and it's over~ today's was so much longer...mayb it's becuz i am just very stupid <_< i don't like being compared to ppl...em's sis, worked there for like 2 years XD how can i be compared to that? i'm not sure how long the friend worked tho~ but more than me for sure? *sigh* it's really hard on me i guess? it's my very first job and i guess i'm still adapting to an environment like this...working with others and learning on the way... what to do?

another note!
i'm off to Pmall again with Janette this time~ i just went on friday with em XD
it's becuz Janette wants to go~ and she just came back from another flight~ so i just agreed to going again XD

y am i blogging already again?
it's becuz i had another bad day @ work T_T
this time it isn't so much the mean doctor~ or the patients...
well not that much...but it was my boss T_________________________T

today i had to work the whole day~ so i went in @ 9:30 am for filing till lunch~
then i went back later for my afternoon shift~
but in the morning, it wasn't that bad, although there was a lot of filing~ i really don't mind the filing...there were 6 heavy bags XD that's a lot~ usually there's only like 2! but i got a few papercuts XD eck~
and when i went to do the ECG, it went stupid on me XD i called for the nice doctor but he couldn't fix it, then Kathy came along and she fixed it XDDD
Also, my boss came in today~ and she was like 'irene, i have to talk to u later, i have a piece of paper with everything u did wrong on it' and i was like O_O damn~ am i in trouble?! am i gonna get fired?! 
but yea, it turned out to be 2 things just~ on a small piece of paper XP

yea i went for lunch with em~
dude that place is so bad <_<
we went for sushi buffet and dude that place is so inefficient...
and like when i talked with them in chinese, it was a lot faster XDD isn't that funny?

then afternoon shift~ my boss left and like she called back to tell me about someone who's gonna call for the nice doctor (her husband), for gardening so i was like ok~ when someone calls for gardening, give it to the doctor directly...but then someone called right and mumbled their name and i was like ??? and they were like asking for my boss...then i was like ooo she's not in and they're like ok *hangs up* and i was like ok~ later my boss calls again and Kathy picks it up~ when she found out that i didn't direct it to the nice doctor, i bet she was mad...but seriously i didn't know it was the gardening place... then yea~ Kathy helped me out again... and we found the person's # and called back to them... *sigh* i'm so bad at this... then later she came back b4 we closed and helped me 'check' the files~ and then she pointed a lot of stuff i did wrong, like bad organizing with the files and this and that and i felt so nervous...and pressured with her there...and then the nice doctor was like i want that book and i was like ??/ so i wanted to call Kathy for help but it couldn't reach her so i just asked my boss... i bet she was thinking "how stupid is she?! she's supposed to know all this?! y is she so slow with learning?!" and yea...it didn't go so well...i bet this day really made myself look stupid in front of her~ and she probably doesn't like me much...mayb even wanna rehire someone else and fire me... i really don't know~ i just feel so tired... *sigh* what if i get fired? easy XD go to the Hart house @ UT, grace told me they're hiring and they pay like $13/hour! *sigh* i don't know...

some things Kathy taught me today:
- don't be gossipy in an office, or else u won't last long...
- remember to ask if the calls r urgent if they're looking for the boss and ALWAYS take down the numbers

Some things i must remember:
- always ask what the patient is seeing the doctor for and if they have seen the doctor b4...
- type everything into the computer b4 printing the list (i was taught another way but my boss said to do this way now...)

ooo yea u know what? i got in trouble...
i let this 'crazy' patient in...and like we now have to think of ways to like get rid of her all the time~ cuz the doctor doesn't wanna see her anymore.... *sigh* my fault again~
my boss is so strict, it scares me~ even more than the mean doctor XD
Kathy is very nice~ she tries to help me fix my mistakes ^^

so yea~ just an update~
so u heard my rant, now let's have a happier random msg?

I worked on thursday till like 8:30 XD
and Em had to wait for me for dinner so she had to help me do some filing~
then we went for Korean BBQ at midland~ that totally didn't satisfy my korean food craving XD
there was this table of like 10+ kids, they took like 20 min to pay XDD i think it was for someone's birthday and the girl couldn't pay enough and no other kids cared...that was mean...XDD they apologized to the waitress cuz they didn't tip enough i think XDD we went home after but like we were waiting for a bus, 1, there was a weird girl who came up to me ask me where STC is and then she was like sorry it was a dare...i was like O_o? and Em continued to glare @ her XDDD o em~!

Then on friday, we went out~ it's funny, it started with a few going to Pmall and then it went to wonderland with a bigger group~ then it turned out like this, the 4 of us, duyen, em + grace + me~ we went to Mimi's for viet noodles then to Centre Island~ we played lots XD had a big workout XDD we went on those quadracycles~ it was so interesting...so tiring too~ we got to see Em + Grace both steer~ hahaha it was so funny XDD there was another one beside us, it was like 5 kids + 2 moms, they were like racing with us~ the little kids called us slowpokes so like we wanted to beat them and when we passed them, u hear em & grace going 'Ha we win!' XDD then we had the races with them~ the little kids continued to call us crazy ppl even to the end~ they were like bye crazy ppl! i was like O_O r u kidding me?! the Moms didn't even stop them~ dude that's mean T_T crazy?! And we saw Island school~ that was like 9 yrs ago~ and the lighthouse~ haunted *cough* XDD but like everything there is so expensive~ $28/hour for the bike, $3.25 for a popsicle, $3 for a water! but we passed for students for the ferry~ so we saved like $2.50 ^^ it was tons of fun~ then we walked around! we also went through a maze XDD hahaha dude that was so funny XDD pics can be found @ facebook ^^

It's been a while hasn't it?
I didn't know when i should update~ cuz i didn't have much to say or i was too lazy

But today...
I guess u can say it's my first bad day at work?
worst day so far?
y? so many times happened XD
i guess now i can feel y em's sis hates the job XDDD

- These 3 patients, they made an appointment but didn't leave a number (I didn't know they were new...and also Dr. Kwok won't take them...so I had to shoo them away when they came)...it was actually the dad for 3 kids, when they came i said sorry but we're not taking in anymore patients. He was like "y didn't u call me! I came all the way from here, I made an appointment!" I was like "...Well on the appointment book, I don't have your number so I couldn't reach you at all...and u didn't say you were new" and he was like "Y didn't you ask me if i was new" I was like "... I don't have time to ask every single person if they're new or not...u'r supposed to tell me that..." and then he swore and left...all the other patients were like staring...
- other small things~ the doctor today (not too nice one but he's ok, i'm just scared of him...) was nice in the morning cuz he came back b4 i did but he only had his office light on XD he scared me cuz i thought he wasn't back yet and I bought him a drink since it was morning time~ He was nice XDD yea for that while~ and I didn't know where the extra labels were so I asked him (after calling Kathy and not being able to find it), he actually helped me but i had a bit trouble putting it into the printer XDD A LOT of trouble XDDD and like this patient came with her husband and after she went in, he wanted to go in so i was like wait let me ask him~ so i knocked and i was like her husband wants to come in to listen along, is that ok? and he was like ask her (the patient) and then i was like ?? so he did it (since my mandarin sucks XDD and i didn't know what to say?) and then he was actually laughing a bit? Also another lady called about her blood pressure being too high, so I asked him about seeing her and he was like that's not high but let her come... (THIS IS REALLY NICE OF HIM! seriously like he's not that nice usually to his patients -- from what i have seen of him? Like he was a bit rude?) XDD
- that's the nice parts XD he yelled at me today twice :( first time was saying for PAPs u need a clamp and he couldn't find any...and I went to look but I didn't find any either...then he was like u'r supposed to wash them everyday so we have a lot...then later he yelled at me becuz there were so many patients...and the appointment schedule looked a bit messy (like 2 names a line -- that's becuz i didn't erase those mean guy's names yet...so then he also complained that they were scheduled so late -- till 1:20), he usually leaves really early but becuz so many ppl came today, he stayed till 2... the problem was? i guess this was kinda my fault too...i'm such a pushover~ these mothers called and they were both saying how their children was sick or this and that so i was like ... ok come~ also i wanted to stay back a bit to call some patients but i called this one person and i couldn't pronounce the name very well (usually ppl won't mind, even if i say it wrong, they would just like correct me) but this person hung up on me TWICE! DUDE~ I can only take so much in 1 day T_T i was like forget it and left~
- Lastly...i guess my luck with machines? I already told u about the printer for labels...then was the photocopy machine...it got jammed AGAIN! it jammed on me again today and it wouldn't resume...then later I wanted to sterilize the PAP clamps but it didn't open for me XDD so I called for help again~ Kathy & Shirley~ hahaha XD finally it opened~ but i did it wrong XD I didn't vent it~ uh oh~ but Kathy said she'll take of it on monday XDD

so yea~ my worst day at work so far?
but stuff to look forward to? My paycheck on tuesday XDD
friday going out with friends~ grace came back from china but i don't get to see her yet?
